Kristian Ferreira is a surfer, tattoo artist and canvas painter based in Puerto Rico. He developed a love for the arts at a young age growing up in Humacao, Puerto Rico. He is recognized for his bright unique palettes, modern pop aesthetic, and celebration of all things ocean.

In addition to being an artist, Kristian is a wave chaser and GoPro surf action shot photographer. His favorite surf spots are Hallows and Manglitos. He has an associate degree in Communications from the University of Puerto Rico and an apprenticeship from Master Tattoo Institute in Miami. He is married to Joanne Fernandez who is the curator of his artwork and business assistant. Both have worked hard in development of Tekowuz Art, a small business with the goal of delivering high quality products to art collectors, decorators, art enthusiasts and anyone who feels the art piece speaks to them.
