Like every artist will say, “It all begins with an idea.” And this, I believe is true. I will watch a movie, a documentary or celebrate a holiday and will later on start painting. Some are requests from clients asking me to paint the portrait of someone they admire very much. Some are family members, actors or even presidents. Other times I will have the image stuck in my brain and will then paint Scarface’s main character Tony Montana played by Al Pacino. Is important for me to display all the facial expressions on the canvas.
